DESCRIPTION:March 11 1:00pm – 3:00pm\nRita is a Danish woman who married a traditional Cree elder\, Raven Makkannaw. He was the teacher\, the doctor and the spiritual leader. Together they devoted their lives to creating harmony between our people. Living in both worlds gave her an insight into how we can live together in a good way through understanding our differences and taking the best of both world views into the future.
