SUMMARY:Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s Disease
DESCRIPTION:Join our very special guest Dessa Sadovnick\, Professor of Medical Genetics & Neurology UBC\, for two lecture  series.  Her talks will cover her journey through the field of what was once called “human genetics” and is now “medical genetics”. She will discuss how her work was innovative in advancing the field from a largely pediatric focus into an area including late onset (teens to the elderly) “late onset” as well as combining research and clinical practice.  She will also discuss the importance of genetic epidemiology.  Her focus topics will be multiple sclerosis (MS) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
